We want everyone to be able to use the Hyfy Originals website. We aim to follow [Accessibility standard you are aiming for, e.g. WCAG 2.2 level AA], and we are working to improve the site over time.

What we have built in

• Clear structure. Pages use headings in a logical order and landmarks (header, main content, footer) so screen reader users can move around quickly.
• Keyboard access. Everything you can click can also be reached with the keyboard. A “Skip to main content” link appears when you press Tab on any page.
• Visible focus. The item you are on is outlined so you can see where you are.
• Descriptive links and labels. Links say where they go, buttons say what they do, and form fields have visible labels with clear error messages.
• Image descriptions. Meaningful images have text alternatives, and purely decorative ones are hidden from assistive technology.
• Motion and sound. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site turns off or tones down animations. Music is off until you turn it on, and it can be switched off at any time.
• Responsive layout. Pages adapt to phones, tablets and desktop, and text can be enlarged with your browser’s zoom.

Using the keyboard on the home page

• Tab and Shift + Tab move between links and buttons; Enter or Space activates them.
• On the client cards, the Left and Right arrow keys, or the arrow buttons, move between clients.
• Escape closes the crew slide and project details when they are open.

Known limitations

• The home page uses animated 3D visuals and moving effects. They are decorative, but some can be distracting. They are reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
• Some text sits over photographs and artwork. Contrast may vary in places, and we are checking this. [Update after a contrast check]
• Some portraits and artwork contain written or drawn detail that is not described in full. The names, roles and details are provided as text beside them.
• We have not yet had the site tested by an independent accessibility specialist. [Add test results or remove this line once done]
